Bharathiar University, Coimbatore has announced the results of PG Examinations November / December 2014 Bharathiar University candidates of affiliated Colleges. Bharathiar University Coimbatore PG Exam Results available on the official website at http://www.b-u.ac.in/.The university shall for the purpose of satisfying itself about the standards of education in such a college or department may direct an enquiry to be made in the prescribed manner by a standing committee consisting of such persons as are deemed fit. An affiliated college or a university department may be conferred the autonomous status by the university in the matter of admission of students, prescribing the courses of studies, imparting instructions and training of examinations and the powers to make necessary rules for the purpose.
The entire under graduate and post graduate courses of studies shall be equally divided in two parts. The examination under regulations shall be held at the end of academic year. Those students who appears at in part or in full the examination are appear in annual examination of university. The university conducts examination of students mostly in the month of march and april.

The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamilnadu in February, 1982 under the provision of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras, which was functioning in Coimbatore before 1982 formed the core of the Bharathiar University. In May, 1985 the University received the recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the purpose of grants.
